Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of FinCampX for iPhone. By creating an account, you agree to them.
1. Access
New accounts currently require an invite code. We may change or lift this at any time without notice.
2. Not financial advice
FinCampX helps you track money you tell it about. It doesn’t connect to your bank, doesn’t verify the figures you enter, and doesn’t give financial, tax, or legal advice. You’re responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for the decisions you make from it.
3. Sharing with a partner
Linking a partner shares the data you both mark as shared — expenses, the joint account, and settlements. Either of you can unlink at any time; shared expenses then become personal to whoever is unlinking, they aren’t deleted.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use FinCampX to store data you don’t have the right to store, try to bypass the invite system or account limits, or interfere with the service for other users.
5. The AI assistant
If you enable the optional in-app assistant, you’re also bound by the terms of the provider whose API key you supply (for example Anthropic’s or OpenAI’s). We aren’t a party to that relationship and aren’t responsible for that provider’s responses.
6. Subscriptions
FinCampX is a paid app after a free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID and your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
A free trial converts into a paid subscription automatically when it ends, unless you cancel before then. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies — we can’t issue them directly.
One subscription can cover a linked partner through Apple’s Family Sharing. Accounts created before this pricing launched keep full access at no charge; this doesn’t transfer if you delete that account.
We may change subscription pricing for future billing periods; where required, we’ll give you notice before a price change takes effect on your subscription.
You’re also bound by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, which applies unless we’ve stated otherwise here.
7. The service, as it is
We provide FinCampX on an “as is” basis and don’t guarantee it’s uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer under mandatory law, including Portuguese and EU consumer protection law.
8. Ending your access
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal.
